Real estate pictures give potential buyers a first peek at your home. While good pictures can generate interest, bad ones may drive buyers away from your home. It's important to spend time staging a home for real estate pictures; we've got tips to help you do this successfully.
Staging for Listing Photos Tips
It's important to declutter and clean your home so that every room comes off in its best light. A cluttered home will turn off buyers.
Once you've done this, try to make each room look lived in and cozy so it will attract buyers. You might put plush towels in the bathroom or a scented candle by the tub, for example.
If you have outdoor amenities, like a deck, add lifestyle elements that bring these amenities to life. Simply by putting a bistro table and chairs, or some potted flowers, on your deck, you will bring the space to life and help buyers envision the space at its best light.
To get the best possible real estate photos, you don't need to spend a lot of money or invest in a fancy camera. Your digital camera will do just fine; if you have access to a wide-angle lens, you'll be able to showcase you rooms and offer the buyer more perspective. Take advantage of your home's natural light by shooting your house pictures when sunlight streams through the windows.
