The countdown to Halloween is on! We’ve put together a list of some fun, family friendly Halloween events happening around Anchorage in the next week. Check them out:

Trick or Treat Street
Saturday, October 26 – 12pm-4pm
Downtown Anchorage

FREE & FUN event for families and children to trick or treat from business to business in downtown Anchorage in a safe and friendly environment. Find out more at

Halloween Fun Night
Saturday, October 26 – 1pm-6pm
UAA Student Union

Grab your spookiest costume and jack-o-lantern candy bucket but leave your coat at home–UAA Club Council’s Haunted Halloween Fun Night is back! This annual event is the largest indoor trick-or-treating event in Anchorage and the largest fundraising event for student clubs on campus. Find out more at

Trick or Treat at the Market
Saturday, October 26 – 10am-4pm
Sunday, October 27 – 11am-4pm
O’Malley Castle Market

Free to public.
Dress up as your favorite princess, scariest monster or best goul and trick or treat among our vendors.

Halloween at the Museum
Thursday, October 31 – 3pm-6pm
Anchorage Museum

Trick-or-treat in the galleries, join in story time in the dome, create in CoLab or catch a special planetarium program. Costumes encouraged. Music, cookies and “witches brew” punch in the atrium and small candy treat bags provided upon exit. Included with museum admission.

Cornerstone Church Fall Festival Trunk or Treat Style
Thursday, October 31 – 6pm-8pm
Cornerstone Church

No tricks here! Don’t miss our trunk-or-treat style Fall Festival this year. It will be in the parking lot of Cornerstone Church at 6 PM on Oct 31st. If you plan on wearing a costume, please make sure it is family friendly. Find out more at

Trick or Treat Fish Creek
Thursday, October 31 – 3:30pm-5:30pm
Kwanis Fish Creek Park

Join your community in a family friendly event to celebrate the re-opening of the Fish Creek Trail! Inspire local parties and welcome neighborhood trick or treating. Start your Halloween Trick-or-Treating with neighbors, families, and fun in Spenard. Wear your costume and walk or bike along the Fish Creek Trail for goodies and ghosts. Find out more at

Zoo Boo on Halloween
Thursday, October 31 – 4pm-8pm
Alaska Zoo

Trick-or-treat with zoo staff, volunteers and animals at our annual Zoo Boo event! Motor coach shuttle will be running loops from Service High School parking lot to the zoo throughout the event. Get tickets at

ChangePoint Trunk or Treat
Thursday, October 31 – 6pm-7pm
ChangePoint Church

Join us for ChangePoint’s annual Trunk or Treat, this year marks 10 years of this free, family-friendly event that is fun for kids of all ages!. Come dressed in your best costume (no scary or revealing costumes, please) and visit trunks set up to fill your candy bags!
